About Us
Kelly Price Kelly Price joins Dance Connection this year teaching Jazz, Tap, Lyrical/Modern, Cheer & Tumble, Combo and Lil' Steppers. Miss Price is a recent graduate of Indiana University , with a Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Contemporary Dance. She has been training in dance since 1989. Kelly's choreography credits include musicals and show choir repertoires for Warren Central High School and Stonybrook Middle School , as well as Hamilton Southeastern High School Freshman Cheerleading Squad. Teaching credits include her position as Independent Tap Dance Teacher at Bloomington High School South and Techniques in Advanced Tap and Intermediate Jazz Assistant Instructor at Indiana University . For numerous community theatre productions, including Footlite Musicals ( Will Rogers' Follies: A Life in Revue, Footloose, Secret Garden and Seussical: The Musical ) and Perry Meridian High School ( Footloose, Oliver and Antigone ), production choreographers have appointed Kelly as the official Dance Captain. She has performed for many modern dance programs through Indiana University 's Department of Kinesiology and as an IU Sing Dancer. As the recipient of the Miss Dance of Indiana 2002 and Teen Miss Dance of Indiana 2000, Kelly Price is an exciting new addition to the teaching staff at Dance Connection!
