Melanie Heazeltine Melanie Heazeltine is excited to be back at Dance Connection! Miss Heazeltine is a recent graduate of Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania majoring in Dance Performance with a minor in Business Management. In May, she began her professional career as a company member with the Gregory Hancock Dance Theater in Indianapolis. During her college career, Melanie has performed in More Momentum, Adjunct Connection, and SCP with Point Park University. In the fall of 2007, Melanie became an apprentice with the Pillow Project dance company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and performed in Volume III: A Certain Point Of View. Melanie was a summer intern/apprentice with the Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre for two years, where she performed such works as Hooray for Bollywood, Superhero, Between Heaven And Earth, and The Hunchback Of Notre Dame. She attended Jordan College Academy of Dance for thirteen years, training in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Tap and Hip Hop dance. As a senior in high school, Melanie was a member of the Jordan Dance Ensemble.
