About Us
Melissa Schott Melissa Schott has been seen on the stage with American Cabaret Theatre (ACT) (Disney’s High School Musical, The Full Monty, Always… Patsy Cline, Big Band Holidaze, Elton & Stevie: A Black & White Affair and Divas!!), Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre (Peter Pan, The Producers and Jungle Book), Actors Theatre of Indiana (The World Goes ‘Round, The Taffetas and A Year With Frog And Toad), Indianapolis Civic Theatre (Thoroughly Modern Milile and 1940s Radio Hour), The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis (A Year With Frog And Toad) and Footlite Musicals (42nd Street), which earned her an Encore Award for Best Actress in a Musical. She was recently selected to play Violet in Broadway Jr.’s Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory. Other productions include Into The Woods, Cinderella, Once Upon A Mattress, School House Rocks, Shame and Becca. As co-owner of Dance Connection in Indianapolis, choreography credits include work for ACT, Indianapolis Civic Theatre, Wayne Township Community Theatre and Footlite Musicals. Vocally, she has recorded for many publishing companies, including Warner Publishing, CP Belwin and Hal Leonard Productions, and solo and jingle credits include Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede, Indiana Lasik Center, Hershey’s Chocolate World, Meijer and Macy’s Department Stores. Melissa has studied with professionals such as Bril Barrett, Debbie Dee, Gus Giordano, Dena Rizzo, Juan Sanchez and Nick Drago from Bravo’s “Step It Up And Dance.” Melissa is a graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
